The good news is, there are several things you can do to that will help you save money on your moving costs. Here are four tips to help you get started on making a move more affordable:

Purge Before Packing

Moving services charge by the distance covered and the pound, so don't pack and move anything you do not need. Start packing as soon as possible before moving day. This will allow you to take your time, sort through what you need and don’t need and pack fewer boxes, which will save on the cost of moving.
