Donating Unwanted but Usable Household Items

While preparing for your move you may come across unwanted furniture or other items you no longer need or have room for. Taking less means lowering moving cost, some items are actually cheaper to replace than to move.
If there are items you are thinking of leaving behind, we at True Friends suggest you consider donating them. We work with local Non-Profit Organizations and Family Help Centers to assist in providing useful items to those in need with the help of our clients and can remove them for you free of charge. Contact us today for more info…

By donating unwanted furniture and other items you are able to afford someone less fortunate the chance to benefit from your household items. It is often times a tax write off as. If everyone chips in think of the  difference we can all make!

Local Donation Centers and Charity Organizations

We prefer that you donate as much as possible as opposed to throwing it away and here are some places that can assist as well. The places listed below are all local and in the Nashville Area and many provide pick-up service from your residence.

“…Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” This verse teaches us that it is not only what we give, but the acceptable attitude with which we should give: willingly, generously, and cheerfully. – 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
